As a basic foundation, we all need to feel safety and belonging; and a sense of feeling valued and invested in. Without these relationship foundations we are not able to be creative and collaborative.

Direction
We all want direction and meaning in our work – clarity of why this organisation exists, where we’re going, and how we’ll get there. We want to have some involvement in shaping this, too.

Participation
We need to see leaders role-modelling our shared mission and values, and trusting us to be active participants in bringing them to life. The change is done with us, not to us.
